Before & aftercare

Before and after your appointment

Here is everything you need to know to get the best results, from the days before to the days after.

Before

Preparing for your appointment

Come along with clean skin and no makeup on the area.

For brow and lash tints, stains and lifts, a patch test may be needed before your first appointment. I will let you know when you book.

Let me know before your appointment if you have any allergies, use active skincare like retinol, or have recently had any other treatments.

The right hair length

For brow shaping, try to let your brows grow for a few weeks before your appointment, so I have more to work with.

Sensitive skin

Let me know before your appointment if you use any active skin treatments, have recently been sunburnt, or have sensitive or broken skin in the area, and we can talk it through.

On the day

When you arrive

Try to arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in. I'll make sure you're comfy, talk you through your treatment and answer any questions before we start.

Your first visit

Never had your brows done before? You're in good hands. I'll talk you through the shape and colour before we start, and nothing happens until you're happy with it.

After

Looking after your skin

For the first 24 hours

  • Keep brows and lashes dry
  • Avoid makeup, heat, steam and the gym
  • Try not to rub or touch the area

Good to know

  • I will give you aftercare for your exact treatment at your appointment
  • For microblading, I will talk you through the healing process in detail

When to get in touch

If you notice severe redness, swelling or blistering, please get in touch with me for advice. And if you've got any other questions about your skin, just message me on Instagram. I'm always happy to help.

When to seek medical advice

Speak to a pharmacist, your GP or NHS 111 if you notice signs of infection such as heat, swelling, pus or increasing pain, or if a reaction does not settle. In an emergency, call 999.

All set? I can’t wait to see you.
